Terms of Service

Last updated October 12, 2026

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and [Company] (“Lithio”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Lithio desktop app, the website and every service we offer through them.

By creating an account or using Lithio, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Lithio for a company, you accept them for that company and confirm you have the authority to do so.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lithio. Keep your sign-in details secure and your account information accurate.

You’re responsible for everything done through your account, including work done by agents you start. Tell us right away at support@lithio.com if you think someone else has access to it.

Using Lithio

Lithio runs AI coding agents in cloud sandboxes. When you give an agent a task, it can read and change code in repositories you connect, run commands, install packages, use the plugins you add, and open commits and pull requests in your name.

You decide which repositories, secrets and plugins an agent can reach. Only connect what you’re allowed to share, and review an agent’s changes before you merge or deploy them.

Your content

Your code, prompts, files and the output agents produce for you stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and send that content only as needed to run Lithio for you, for example to a model provider to generate a response.

We don’t use your content to train AI models, and we don’t sell it.

AI output

Agents can make mistakes. Their output can be incorrect, insecure or similar to code written by others. Check it the way you would check a colleague’s work. You’re responsible for how you use it.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Lithio to:

  • Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
  • Build malware, attack systems you don’t own, or get around security controls.
  • Mine cryptocurrency, send spam or run workloads unrelated to software development.
  • Probe, overload or reverse engineer Lithio, or get around usage limits.
  • Share or resell your account, or use Lithio to build a competing service.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly, in advance, through Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing pageand don’t include taxes, which are added where required.

Each plan includes a usage allowance that resets at the start of every billing period. Unused allowance doesn’t carry over. When you reach your allowance, agents pause until it resets or you upgrade.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. If we change a plan’s price, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from billing in your account on the website. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable, including for partly used periods and unused allowance, except where the law requires a refund.

If you think you were charged by mistake, email support@lithio.combefore disputing the charge with your bank. We’ll look into it and fix billing errors.

Other services

Lithio works with services run by others, such as GitHub, Google sign-in, AI model providers and the plugins you add. Their own terms apply to how you use them, and we aren’t responsible for them.

Ending your account

You can stop using Lithio and ask us to delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk or goes unpaid. Where we reasonably can, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

Disclaimers and liability

Lithio is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, including that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

We’ll update these terms as Lithio changes. If a change matters, we’ll email you before it takes effect. Using Lithio after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

The laws of [Country] govern these terms, and disputes are handled by the courts of [Country], unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
